It wasn't a long conversation. She said she was just calling to say hello. I almost didn't answer it but I couldn't resist. I was happy and upbeat and told her about what was going on in my life. She didn't offer much as to what she had been up to and I didn't pry. She sounded like death warmed over though. She told me she only sleeps a few hours a night. I wanted to ask her why the eff she stopped talking to me, but that wouldn't have been very fruitful. So, I let the last 12 days slide...
