My trip's a week away, and to say I am anxious is an understatement! I am really doubting myself here, but I am going through with the plan, which is to have my son's Bar Mitzvah on top of the Masada on Xmas Eve Day. I didn't realize what an undertaking this really is, it just sounded like a cool idea at the time!
Guys, I have to tell you, I am getting notes from people of ALL religions, to place on the Western Wall, which is supposed to be the most holy of places ( the notes go in the cracks, and apparently there are so many notes that it's hard to find a space, but I am determined that the notes I'm carrying WILL get on that wall)! No, IC, I am not going to bring super glue!
Anyway, my own note is going to include something about you all here, but I got to thinking that maybe you'd like to add your own personal note ( people write things they'd like God to hear...prayers, wishes, thoughts...that kind of thing). The notes are written on a small piece of paper...they are usually a few lines, sometimes more, and then they are folded over and over into a small rectangle to fit into the wall.
My email is JourneysJoy@aol.com. I wil print it out, fold it up, and remember to take the envelope with the messages with me next week. Yes, I will remember, I will remember, I will remember. Lil, will I remember?

Okay, I did something constructive...I copied a few sentiments onto little peices of paper and folded them up. You folks here are so awesome. To hose of you who thnaked me for doing this, it's really been a selfish act...I have gotten so much from this, and I thank you. There is no way I am fogetting these notes.

IC said he sent a request to ya but he might be having the same problems with his e-mail as well. What the hell is his e-mail...rabies..no, no RabidWolverine@peoplepc.com I hope it was nothing offensive coming from him But when it comes to stuff like that, he's switches to "good guy" mode.

About a week ago, I told you a story of the little girl and her mother that we met at IC's last chemo treatment. Well today was the day that we had them both over to our house for dinner and a play date with our two little girls. What a wonderful and sweet little girl. She had a blast playing with our girls...and yes IC was in the mix and the mom got a much needed break from reality...she's a 26 year old divorced mom that is now dealing with her 5 year old daughter's cancer - alone...until now, now she's got the IC's in her corner {not sure if that's a help or a hinderance }
If it's not too late, I'd like to add them to Journey's prayer list.
