Quick update ... we had a good time. Didn't post yesterday. I was exhausted ... and somewhat hungover. We didn't have to drive so we partied hard. I'm getting too old to party too hard!! I hate going to those things, but usually when you get there and start socializing, you start enjoying yourself.
As far as the time with my H, it was pretty close to being magical Yoyo! H asked me if our time together was good, I said yes and asked him what he thought. He agreed wholeheartedly. What a difference from a year ago when the same night was a complete bust.
Now if I just was a bit more ready for Christmas. I am so behind this year. I pretty much lost the entire weekend. Haven't wrapped a d@mn thing. The Christmas tree is hardly decorated. Just got my cards done tonight! Oh well, it will get done...
What a wonderful post. Yay to your night!! And yay for partying it up. Even old folks (me included) deserve a night to party, it just takes us longer to recover. lol
