Good question. I already bought something for my W. It is a digital picture frame which goes well with the digital camera I got for her last year. She enjoys taking pictures all the time and has actually framed some of them so I think it is a nice gift that is not intimate.
Personally, it doesn't matter if she gets anything for me. Ever since I could earn money, I found that I enjoy giving gifts more than I receive. I am not saying I don't like to receive because I do but that is not my motivation.
I can recommend getting a gift for your H as if he was simply a friend. A friend gift is usually very casual and should not be perceived as pursuing.
