I love Ketel One. Its the least offending vodka. My best friend's ONLY drink is Diet Coke and Vodka. Many years (in college) I watched her drink the cheapest vodka around. lol

Um... Diet Coke and vodka? Never heard of that one. But if you are gonna do it, the best way is with the cheap stuff.

But stick with Ketel One if you are gonna do it neat, on the rocks, in a martini, or with club soda...

And "least offending?" In what way is vodka offending? It's so, so harmless...

When I still drank (years ago now), I was a Stoli' man. Straight.

Oh, yes. Soli is very good. One of my favorites.

However, while Stoli is the Cadillac of vodkas, Ketel One is the Mercedes.

Either way, a very nice way to travel.

Vodka...I stay away from it. It knocks me on my butt and I pay for it. I stay away from anything clear. I was one of the few girls who avoided the fruit punch drinks the frat boys mixed up. I had to head for the kegs...LOL

Mark, that's one vodka that escaped me. Never tried it, and am (now) not likely to ever get a chance. (I gave up the hard stuff after my parents divorced.) But I will say you've piqued my curiosity!

<LOL> I am reminded, however, while going through this WAS pain, of the Airplane movies where Lloyd Bridges' character says, "Looks like I picked the wrong week to quit drinking."
