Since you all liked that term so much its my new thread.

Call it what you will boosting PMA, GAL...socializing, dipping your toes in the water, most of us old timers on here are so far into this separation crap and pending divorce disasters that this is the next step. Getting ourselves prepared for the reality that we may just have to take that plunge back into the single and mingle scene...UGH.

Of course I will still be posting about the dramas of separation.
Cause those are never ending.

So far stil no real changes, H is a donkey. Gets colder and nastier as time goes on. He just hasn't been cured of his "anal rectal inversion" just yet. The light bulb hasn't been turned on and I am not sure it will. Once the filing for the Big D comes I think it might be a "last call for alcohol" thing and he will be shocked into action or go his separate way. I am prepared for either scenario. But of course there are stipulations for him to meet in order to get back in my good graces...IC for him and continuing MC for us...(I am in IC so I am fulfilling my end of that bargain). He adamently refuses IC, so I don't see reconciliation happening at this point, but time will tell.

Anyway, just wanted to post something a little more upbeat and positive than my last post. Got to love this rollercoaster ride.

Cranial-rectal inversion. I've gotta find that ad and send it to you.

Thinking of taking the plunge and asking someone out for dinner myself.

I knew the phrase was something like that, thank you for the correction.

At this point Heim...if you feel ready to do so, then go for it...just remember no commitment till the 5th date!

Ha. Just some humor for you...Still reeling from the "where do you see this going" question that I got last week after a few pizza and beer meetings.

WAW, and any other ladies out there,

As I said, thinking of asking out to dinner one of the ladies I meet at the meetup group thing. She gave me her business card, has her cell on it. Sent her an email a few days back asking for tips on other groups, she forwarded it to her yahoo account and cc'ed me on that, so I've got her personal email.

OK, I know I'm overthinking this, but I haven't done this, uh, hmmm, since high school, and then only twice. (My W and I met at a party and then at an event two weeks later and just clicked and started seeing each other every day. We didn't even go on an actual 'date' until two weeks after we started seeing each other.)

So, email or call her cell? If cell, and it goes to VM, then what?

Great googally-moogally, this is wierd.

BD

Oh, and if we're not engaged by the 2nd date, I'll be finished with her.

And, WAW, I hope to see you in March. I promise not to ask where our R is going until the 3rd or 4th hour \:\)

I have a lot of lingerie, but no cheerleading outfit. I have to get down to a size XS or size 0 to fit into them....oh yeah, those are my W's, better rethink that.
