Well, this is my thread, so I get the last word!!!

I would suggest that, if we had this discussion in the same room, we would agree much more that we would disagree. Our discussion was restricted by the constraints of this forum.

If you look at the title on the very top of your web browser, you will see why you (and all of us) are here. We are here because we believe, in most circumstances (and certainly each of our circumstances), that divorce is not the answer. On this we can agree without question.

Those of us here who are parents (well over 95% of us) believe that the best place for a child to grow up is in a home with both of their biological parents in living the same home as a happily married couple. In these conditions, the parents can use their collective judgment to collaborate on what is best for their own child. And this will be different from family to family.

Can we agree on that??????? ;\)

I don't see why no one can say, "Yeah, Sara, your husband sure didn't take care of the kids well." Of course you're right Mark.

Sara Ann!!!!!!!!

Go ahead stir the pot again..... LOL...

I found out from my meeting that as much as we talk here the true meanings and feelings can be missed. It's amazing sit-in across for someone drinking a beer how things are so much clearer

Mark,

I wanted to type out a post like the one you typed after my last one but as I had to take my D to school and was running late I went for the short option!!!

Sara - yep - Your H sucked about the arm incident. My eldest D broke her arm at lunchtime one day at school and the school nurse sent her back to class telling her there was nothing wrong with it. The first I knew about it was when three hours later I picked her up from school she came out crying!!!!!

Manuel - got your email thanks. Have only just managed to get on the pc as I have been tied up with my French sexy kilted osteopath and my horse, (literally it seemed at times)!!!!! ;\)

Now got to go pick the kids up

See, Saffie, that's what I'm talking about. Those are examples of taking care of children that are worth complaining about.

I know. When I went into the school to just say that perhaps they could phone me next time one of my kids hurt themselves they got very aggressive. I was really taken aback as I hadn't been nasty. I was just so relieved that the first broken bone any of my kids had wasn't caused by the horses as my H dislikes the horses so much and ironically it was my D who rides the most that broke her arm at school!!!

Found out about a year later from an ex member of staff they had been worried about us taking them to court for neglect!!!!!

Since then all my kids have had cell phones at school so that I can get them if there is a problem. Our schools don't encourage kids taking cell phones to school but I don't take any notice now.

Sorry for the hijack and rant Mark.
