I did not ask her to make it. She volunteered.... glad you are feeling better. Don’t know catching the flu from you just may be better than dealing with her moods.

YES.... She gets really pissed and then it's over. Must be a California thing. Like an earth quake. Over in minutes but what a ride...
It may sound worse than it is. She was not throwing things across the room. It was more of a slam thing down or tosses them into the sink.
When I suggested the frozen lasagna and her replay was "no I don't want to" I did tell her” then stop throwing things" not real loud but I did say it and I know she did hear it.
If my son was not in the room it would be so much easier (I think) to just start yelling back at her.
Maybe part of my problem is I still remember when I was a kid how my mom and dad used to fight and my mom would be the thrower. I was so scared. (I never saw then physically hurt each other) but I remember being scared. My son has never witnessed a two way argument between my W and I. (I don't think I have either).
