All the way down on page 2!! Oh well, that's my fault for not coming around in over a week!
Things here are actually going really well. The weather in Chicago is GORGEOUS for the 3rd day in a row. The kids and I are out all the time!
H and I are on really good ground. We had a little snippy moment this last weekend, but talked it through and it was ok. Other than that, a-ok. FF almost quit a couple of weeks ago but unfortunately, that fell through. She is still a presence in my life, but no longer feels a threat. Still not gonna be social with her, but its getting easier to be pleasant.
I literally haven't been on the computer in almost 2 weeks. I checked my e-mail today and a week ago yesterday, my H sent me an e-card that said "ILY". It was part of the form card, but I'll take what I can get! He also left me a note before he left for work on Thursday. He signed the bottom, "Love ya, Bryan" That's the first time I've seen those words on a note since November! WOOOHOOOO!!!!!
Friday night, he was late getting home from work. When he got home (I knew he was gonna be late) he told me he had actually left on time but stopped off at a few stores to look at new bikes for me (been promising one for 2 years). He's been totally going out of his way doing "Acts of Service". Not my LL, but knowing that it is his, makes me realize that he's saying it without saying it. It's funny how knowing his LL and watching him express his love to me that way is totally filling my tank even though it's not mine at all. That's such a great book for anyone who doesn't have it or hasn't read it yet. 5 love languages by Gary Chapman. It's a quick/easy read too.
Anyway, all good here. The kids are waking up from their naps, so we're going back outside to play. Weatherman says it's going to turn crappy again tomorrow so I'm going to enjoy this summer preview while I can.
Much love to you all.
Erin
