Why would we need lawyers when there is nothing left to divide?
I think it's funny that everyone that has posted seems to have already known we were shot to hell but waited until I admitted it to myself...well thanks for that I guess. It certainly gives me a new perspective.
1) I feel that by making it seem 'real' by discussing moving forward with the divorce it will change the dynamic. That's why I said that. 'Last resort' technique. You haven't pulled back from Jeff, way back. Try it and see what happens.
2) I still don't think you are 'shot to hell'. The fat lady hasn't sang yet. I think you're tired from the war. And I respect that you need to make some kind of choice because living in this limbo IS bad for EVERYBODY.
I'm not going to push you to stay in an unhealthy situation given what you've said about your kids and everything else. I trust that you will do whatever is 'the right thing'. And whatever that is, I'll support you in it. Always.
