I was going to post what Saffie just posted.. she gave me that great piece of advice for Xmas and our Anniversary. Something from the kids only for me.

The concert tickets over here for the Spice Girls are trading on Ebay at lower than their face value!!!!! Now that says a lot!!!!

For my birthday (two months after I confronted her with the evidence - about five months ago), she gave me a t-shirt and a DVD. Thanks.

Is it something you can get the children involved in?

I am considering a necklace with the kids' birthstones. Something like this:

I could always say it's from the kids. But she will know that I did it.

I got a nice pink plastic spider catcher here I can ship over - only one careful lady owner - went down a storm when I got given that!!!!!!!!!!

I like the idea of the necklace, Mark. I know the last necklace whcih reminded her of her religion was not a hit. This one will remind her of her family. I hope she has a better feeling for it.

I was not going to get my W anything for X-mas. but........ I ended getting her something. It's the first gift under the tree.
It's hard playing the tuff guy when we are marhmellows. Unfortunatly that is what I think got me into this in the first place.

Well, the necklace will be for her birthday, actually.

I imagine that she will soon broach the subject of gifts, and offer the old, "let's not get anything for each other for Christmas." And I am OK with that.

And yeah, Sara, the diamond cross was probably ill-advised. Regardless, I have no regrets. It was a very minor set-back.
