yeah. although in my case, not as distant as it should be, unfortunatley.
h loves mine, too, btw. so I guess my job from here on out is to look as hot as possible and make sure I'm wearing the right jeans whenever he's around. lol. just so he knows what he is missing, right.
ya know, I'm nowhere near ready to date, but someday when I am, I do wonder if h will be at least a wee bit jealous. hoping by the time I do, though, I won't care if he is or not. hopefully I'll get beyond that someday.
for now, though, maybe should look into some yummy arm candy and fake it for a bit.

OK, well.... not much going on. The wife took #1 & #2 to dinner, I had #3, and we went our own way. We had a great time. No candidate for "Father of the Year," I took her to the local Buffalo Wing joint. Ran into a friend at the bar. So we joined him. On the other side of us was a single woman at the bar, by herself. #3 did a great job of well.... um.... "baiting the hook." And I took care "reeling it in" (does that make me a bad father????). OK, I didn't get a phone number, or even a name. Well, I didn't get her last name, OK???
Anyway, this guy we sat with also knows of our marital struggles. And he was "down with it." He is a recent divorcee, the victim of a cheating WAW. But it was nice to have confirmation that I still have it. Or maybe it's my daughter that has it. The jury is still out...

I laughed about the pepper comment cancelling all your 'hip' words for about 2 more pages when I was catching up on your thread. Glad you had a 'date' with #3 and glad you are home safe.
