Well, I guess my last thread locked, what's up w/ that?
Anyway, figured you guys would appreciate this: the girls & I @ work are taking a "field trip" today at lunch to the Love Shack. At least that's what I'm calling it, don't really know what the name of the place is. Of course, I've been to one of these stores before, however, never back in the sticks in podunk little town TX, so it may be interesting to see what I can find
The boys and I are taking a trip this weekend - driving to San Antonio to see family. H's aunt & her 3 girls are coming into town to surprise H's mom. They live in Iowa, so we don't see them often. It's kind of "different" in the fact that H's aunt is my age and the 3 girls are our boys' ages, so H's cousins are his children's ages. Anyway, H's sister is going to take me to get my belly button pierced (again). I've had it done 2 times before, but had to take it out once when I went through basic & then when I was pregnant the first time. I'm finally thin enough again to want to get it done again. Wasn't real sure about the tatoo parlors here in our town, so I'm going to get it done while we're there.
Went shopping last night & got "the outfit" that I will wear when we pick H up from the airport NEXT WEEKEND Cute little bright pink sweater & black velvety pants w/ some ankle boots. I actually had to go to the junior's section to find pants that fit!!! Wow -- of course, Mom played the Devil's Advocate and said don't get rid of all of your old clothes that don't fit anymore just in case you gain weight.
So, all in all, I'm feeling pretty good. My drive is in overdrive just thinking about H coming home I told him I hope he's ready for touchy/feely which is a 180 for me b/c I'm going to want to be touching him constantly to make sure he's really here!
I actually had been not even interested (physically for some reason) in "helping myself out" a bit for awhile now. I'm glad to report that I've been able to jump start that again too so that my body doesn't go into shock once H comes home. I've found that if I have a really long dry spell, sometimes it's hard to "get back into it," so I'm just trying to dispell w/ that before he even gets home. Ok, TMI, nah, not here
So, opinions please -- I'm thinking about getting H a new wedding ring for Christmas. I'm not going to give it to him on Christmas though, I'm going to wait & put it on the pillow at the B&B when we go for our little weekend get away. What do you guys think?
