edie, I totally understand what you are saying. I do. Even if H made the decision to leave/divorce, I feel empowered because I am SO much more ready for it than I was. And that's because of the work *I* did, not the work H did to knock me down. I have confidence in myself and my ability to move on if I must, and that helps me.
