SIL just re-invited me for xmas eve. Says we are having it early this year, 1pm. She said that I am still part of the family regardless and that my kids would surely want me there and I shouldn't be home alone. I told her it was refreshing that she treated me normally regardless of the situation, as she is the only one still to keep in contact.
