SMIL will be a good person to have around, as with FIL. This is good. Hope you have a good Sunday.

Was thinking about this more and agree with LWB. I have a great relationship with my in-laws. My FIL told me both he and MIL were really angry over what H has done ... said point blank they thought he'd been a real sh!t! Brought a smile to my face, and tears, as well.

Thanks for the reminder, Joie, that wife's father and step-mom may have tossed cold water in her face by saying something like: "Given all that you have done, you are lucky he is still around!!"

It's possible....

Not to be a wet blanket Mark, but my IL's told me that they would be here for me and all that BS. I haven't heard from them since September.

I am sorry to hear that.

I don't think that will be the case, though. The fact that they are both LBS' works in my favor.

So has anyone told you what was said yesterday? I would be on pins and needles if I knew all those people were saying things that affected my life.

hey mark, just wanted to pop by and see how you were holding up. hope things are going okay.

I think the fact that they are both LBS is huge. hope that helps offset the "blood is thicker than water" bit.

Honestly, it is not a concern of mine. Perhaps that's the faith that I have in the in-laws (particularly SMIL).

And Sara, I'm gonna shine either way. Whatever she decides, I am going to find happiness. Months ago, I began to see the benefits of her not being in my life. And it seems that more and more benefits are added each week.

Yep Sally. I agree about the LBS part. As I said to Sara, SMIL is very much a problem solver - a negotiator.

I have no idea what happened yesterday.

At the risk of reading too much into anything, the wife was a little surly last night when I got home, and this morning when we woke up. I believe that she did not like what she heard. Just a guess, though.
