H and I usually take the girls to see a light display at the state park close to our home. I decided to ask him to join us rather than just taking them on my own. I asked him yesterday and he was Mr. Vague ("let's see how the day goes..."). Whatever. Asked him one more time today (Didn't ask, just said, "You are welcome to join us, we are going"), and he avoided it.

So. The girls and I are going when I get off work. Done with that.

Hello, earth to LWB's H?! Why wouldn't he go? Sounds like a family trip and a chance to be with his kids! It was nice of you to ask though. He's probably not even thinking about that, though! I hope the girls tell Dad all about the pretty lights that they saw.

Have fun! Christmas lights at that age are like fireworks ... ooo ... ahh!

Joie, its me he doesn't want to be with, not the girls. He would happily take them by himself, just doesn't want to be with me.

Weather is awful so lights might be out, but we are going somewhere...

I remember packing up in the car when we were kids and hitting the "light neighborhoods" you know.. the people who put up multi thousand dollar displays? It was cool.

W has already taken them (and OM and his kids) to the Festival of Lights. It's at the zoo, so it is a good family trip.

I'll be taking them to a light display and probably downtown Cinci on my next weekend.

Downtown Cinci is cool.. Ice Skating (D's have not done that yet), horse drawn carriages, maybe we'll see Santa.

I'm also thinking about taking them skiing/tubing this year. I've never been snow skiing. Should be fun!!

Oh the plans!! Somehow, I love my husband, but I love making my own plans for the girls. I really love it.

Wow to the downtown trip, do it!

Yes, they would. Although different time and setting, strikingly similar. The fog...
