Thanks guys.. I appreciate the encouraging words. My W wont be at the party as she had her own little Bday party for D.

Regardless, Im going to try not to think about her and focus on my D.

Just waiting for the pizza! Cant believe she is 8 years old going on 18!

Have a great day!

And believe me, I think you are in the worst of it. Sadly, you had discovery of this A and the actual A hit you all at once. I am thinking of you.

Im trying to remain in a positive mood. Again, this is another 1st for me. This is the 1st time W and I havent both attended D's Bday party together. Even the past 2 years we've been separated, we always came together for Bdays, Thanksgiving and Xmas.

This year will be the 1st that we come together for any of them.

I struggle because EVERYTHING reminds me of her. In addition, D showed me her diary, she wrote about wanting her family back together and that she doesnt like OM. While she was asleep, I wrote a little note in her diary:

D,

I want you to know that I love you dearly and that I will always be here for you.

Love,

Daddy-O (her pet name for me)

Just got back from church with D. Such an awesome place with really kind people...

Its funny, because W used to go with D and I when we were together, then she quit going and it was just D and I. When we would get back from church W would already be drinking beer at 11am... Man, what a gal!!!

Im not saying Im God's gift to the world, but I try to be a good person... hopefully God will soften her heart and lead her back to her family.

Drowning her guilt, probably.

Glad you enjoyed church, a nice escape at times.

None of us are perfect. Even our spouses realize what they are doing is wrong, but they are caught up in it. My H repeatedly says he can't believe he is *this* person.... I hope your W wakes up soon.

Clark W. Griswold rocks!

I love that movie!! The squirrel in the Christmas tree is one of my fave scenes.

Good for you for going to church. It always makes you feel better despite all the anxiety.

Dude.. Eddie with the Dickie is the best!!

When I first started going over to the in-laws for Thanksgiving, that was their staple.. watch Xmas vacation. They had the TV edited edition and had never seen the unedited version.

Got it for Xmas for them one year.. they will never watch the TV version again!!!

That is a classic. Love the jello with the cat food.......

Its constantly playing at our Christmas functions too. Fun just to sit, even for a moment to watch it. Doesn't matter what moment, they are all hilarious!
