Which is why it puzzled me when you asked me what on earth I thought would interest you about the article. Intentional communities are great for all the reasons you listed, and living in one would be terrific for you.

Then you could be "at home" (as opposed to "homeless") without feeling like you were stuck in inside four walls all by yourself. You could have the fluidity of having people around and hanging out in their homes, and yet you'd have the security for you and your children of having a real home to serve as a home base.

Personally I'm going to start looking for one and aim to relocate in the next five to seven years. Maybe by then my bf will be in a position to buy my house and property (which are right next to his) and I can move to a plush retirement community in town. Sounds like a plan!
