Mark, the dog thing did it for me. She is not all the way here. That is beyond reality for her to actually believe you would do that to an animal. And the kids hearing? My heart hurts for them. They know you wouldn't do such a thing. Your wife doesn't believe it either, but its part of her 'backup' for leaving you, since she doesn't have anything concrete.
What does she want to 'negotiate' with you? I am assuming the money, house and of course the kids.
