DNQ - this isn't a 2 x 4. As you know I largely stay off your thread. BUT, can you now understand why many experienced people were so concerned abut your develoing r with Linda? They were not mean spirited kill joys. It had the clear potential to add another layer of complication and pain for you and her, and possibly your children too, in an already difficult situation.
Most of us could have been where you have been - truly, I am not a saint, and I miss the emotional and physical intimacy greatly.
