Also think about it this way, Mwel, you will be looking good for yourself. When we feel good about ourselves it's amazing how much our self-esteem improves. Everyone has to admit how nice it is when someone tells you look good. Hmmm...I think the friend has a crush on you. You may not see it, but I just have this feeling...

I agree it did make me feel good when she said that I was looking different. My self-esteem did go up.

No, no. She has a BF and is faithful, we respect each other and just looking for friendship, nothing else...We have been friends as long as I've known my W. We have a lot of history, fun and drunken times together. She is just fun to be around, she makes you focus on other things than what is really going on. Plus I could never do that with her, we just dont look at each other in that way..Know what I mean?
Okay, I agree you can be friends with the opposite sex. Interesting that she is your W's BF and she would rather hang out with you. Doesn't say much for your W does it? Even their friends know that they are wrong.

Well, never say never. Also don't look good for your wife. Look good for you. Look good for anyone BUT your wife. That's a boost to the self-esteem!
What do you mean never say never??
I am looking good for me and no one else, not my W, no one but me. Grantit if another female wants to give me compliments and tell me how good I look, I gladly take em..

Yes we are just friends, nothing more or less. My W is in Michigan, her job requires her to travel to WI, IL, IN, MI, KY and WV. Since we got M she has only been for me maybe 1.5 months...I'm sure if my W was still in town then things would be different between us and Im sure that her BF would hang out with her. Her friend tells me that I need to screw her over in the D, that she screwed me so many times and that I need to make her pay..I dont know about all of that.. Her friend has told me that I am a great guy and any woman would be stupid not to be with me, and that my W has issues and that she is stupid for doing what she is doing...she also said that she wants to see her friend happy..
Well, this weekend was good, well at least Friday and Saturday night. Friday night I went out with a co-worker and some of his friends and had a great time. Slept most of the day Saturday, I was a little hung over. Saturday night I went to watch my cousins throw in a dart tournament and watched the football games....Ohio State is back in the title game...Yeah baby.. So that is exciting. Sunday sucked just like every Sunday. I mainly just sit at home and read, watch a movie, watch football, did laundry. Just thought about her. I know that I need to get out of the house but it was raining really bad and we had tornado warnings so I really didnt want to leave.
I watched some parts of the movie Shall we dance with Richard Gere/Susan Sarrandon/Jennifer Lopez..anyway if you have seen this movie then you know how it goes...
this quote really got to me, hit me like a ton of bricks.
"We need a witness to our lives. There's a billion people on the planet... I mean, what does any one life really mean? But in a marriage, you're promising to care about everything. The good things, the bad things, the terrible things, the mundane things... all of it, all of the time, every day. You're saying 'Your life will not go unnoticed because I will notice it. Your life will not go un-witnessed because I will be your witness'.
It kinda makes you feel like there's no point for any of it to happen at all when there's no one there to bear witness to it and share it with you.
