Christmas IS next. See my thread about my idea for a card. My parents are going to visit my sister and want D17 and me to join them. I need to check to see how much time I can get off from work, but I think that might be a good plan.
Just slowly moving ahead. H came Sunday and saw youngest S off to school stayed an hour and went to her house where he lives now. Oh well!! Life does go on. I was a little bummed Sunday but have to face it and move ahead. He calls most days to see how the business is going. Just don't know how all of us got in this situation. I did have a call from an old friend the other day. It was fun to visit with him. The weather has turned cold and wintery. It sure makes a different at night when it gets dark so early. It makes for a long night since the kids are all gone. So back to exercising again.
Saffie how are you and your neck? You will be the bell of the ball in your dress. I can see you as the prettiest woman there and they will be saying I'm glad he wised up and stayed with Saffie she is the Queen...
Sara I am so sorry about your son. It does sound like they are targeting him.

Ok!! He was a him and not bad looking if I remember right...You always have the old picture on how they looked....He used to be friends with H and I but H only talks to him occasionally. He called to see how I was making it. Interesting enough he used to kinda date my H OW said she is crazy...
It sounds as if he realizes what a fool your H is and wants to get to know you better. You go girl. What a boost for the self-esteem! Something we all need dearly at a time like this! Perhaps he would like to see your horses...

Its kinda weird to have someone call and visit and enjoy the conversation and they enjoy talking back. H just called and is comint thru town and wants to go to lunch. He had to come down and pick something up. He asks me to lunch and coffee more since he lives with her. I am trying real hard not to be cranky I am trying the 180 or should it be 360 to be nice and not say anything....
I say go and be your friendly self-confident self. Make him wonder "why in the he!! did I ever leave her?" Keep conversation light. Talk about the good things going on in your life. Talk about your boys. Talk about your accomplishments. You are a very strong woman. You have proved that time and time again. Show him that woman! Go buy yourself something new to wear, that always makes me feel good when I wear it!
