Sara,
Your feelings are very undestandable. We tend to hurt the worst when someone close to us is hurt, especially our children. I believe being emotionally exhausted is worse than being physically exhausted. I'm sure you have been watching the clock like hawk today.

Your son is so lucky to have parents who stand up for him the way you both do. I'm sure he realizes that. It will probably bring you closer. I know that when my H and I separted it certainly brought my youngest DD and I closer together. Oldest DD had always been a mommma's girl.

You are a good parent and your son will so appreciate the support you give him. It just makes it so hard emotionally. Someone told me its easier when they grow up but I have found out they still need you as much but its different when they were little you were in control of how things went but as they grew up your not in control and can only give support and advice and hope everything turns out.

Hugs for you and hope the day goes better.

thanks guys. I just hope this is the end of it, I mean before going to court. The officer in the school warned us today that the police might stop his car everytime they see it driving down the street and search it with the dogs. The thing about the dogs is, they will sniff out marijuana that was once in the car, but is no longer there. So they will always alert on that car. Maybe that's why it went to auction before we bought it. I guess we have to sell the car. I hate to do that. He really likes his car, but we can't keep taking this kind of trouble.

Can you take it to a car detailer and get it cleaned up really good?

Sara,
This is like a living nightmare. How big is the school and town you are in...Have they ever found anything? It is almost like harassment. I agree with yoyo maybe it would come clean with detailing. Hang in there we are here for you.

I took it to the car wash today. I don't know where to get it detailed. It looks clean to me.

The school has 2,000 students. The city has 1 million people.

And this police officer has time to single your S out? Is there not something else happening. Why does this police officer hate your son so much?

That's exactly what I think Penny. We don't know. We're hoping that if my son only stays home and in school for a period of time that the cop with start obsessing about someone else. We want to avoid another run-in with him.
