Hey, I have a Canon 30D except i don't care for it. Now hold on, reason i don't like it is my hands are very small and it doesn;t fit them. Also weighs to much for type work I like to do. XH talked me into the camera, I knew I should return it but didn't. Several times I have almost given it to H. I am planning to purch Canon Rebel. Will be loosing 2FS in power shooting but, hey thats life. the 35mm i have just love. Has an external motor drive (gift from H)for up to 5 FS, lol you can go through s roll of film real fast if you are not careful. All manual focus and with age, my eyes can no longer focus correctly. Bye Bye manual focus.
How often do you shot your lense set @ 17mm? WOW, 70-300 zoom that is one hell of a lense. You can only shoot that on tri, yes?

I had H sign over all rights to my dogs the first day I saw his face after he left. He nearly cried when he signed off. Ask me other day if i really transfered all the dogs. HA! I had a canon rebel G 35mm, so I stayed with canon because they told me my 35mm zoom lens would work on it. It didn't and had to buy a new 70 to 300mm zoom. If I have good light you don't need a tripod just use a good stance. There is a multiplication factor of 1.5 in digital, so the 17mm setting is the same as 28 with film, but it makes the zoom comparable to 450mm. If I had known old zoom wouldn't work, I'd probably gone to Nikon.

When dad died my way of dealing with it was to ignore/forget it. I was the oldest child and felt I had to not break down for my brothers and mother. As far as sfather goes, my family doc when I was first married talked to me. We took one of the kids for a visit when he was done with him, he told my W to leave with the kids. He told me he belonged to a group adult children of alcoholic parents. Told him I know if SF supported me in baseball maybe I could have gone pro, but I wouldn't have met my W and who's to say my life would have been better.

SF died a few months ago, I hadn't seen him in twenty years. But you're right I didn't have a role model on how to be a husband by example.

I would go to the support group. Do yourself a favor and go. You'll meet so many people who went through your hell, walked in same shoes. they understand and funny they'll understand where you are today. Remember you don't have to go back if you don't want to. Help you find some peace with everything today.
I am sorry about the pro sports, I know how much that hurts. I was some what in the same spot as you. What hurt was no one would support you to at least have the chance to fail and now you don't know. I let go of it many years ago and realize H and I wouldn't have had all memories of 20yrs. That was well worth the trade off.

Well, H update. Spoke with H yesterday, business. In the mail I recieved postcard from place in Ocean City where we stayed on Honeymoon(5yrs ago). I mention to H the postcard and instead of negative he was postive with wishful thinking in his voice. So without telling H I called and made reservations for us in 2008 same month and day of honeymoon of course. My hope is I can baby step myself to get us there next year.

I was a catcher and relief pitcher for my teams. Pro scouts were watching me at about 15yo. Had opportunities with Yankees and Padres after high school. I didn't take them and have no regrets. I was always underrated, although I led league in batting avg last two years. Back then teams wanted players who could run to 1st base in .5 sec, they only looked for speed. My theory of hitting was if you hit it far enough you don't have to run, lol. I don't have any regrets, if I had gone that route, I wouldn't have met my W, had my kids or the friends I have now. Although my sons probably didn't believe I was that good.

Keep making baby steps, hopefully he'll keep coming closer. Is he contacting you more often? Let him call you if you can. It's good to hear he wasn't negative about Ocean City post card.

I have been told Nikon is better at action photos, quicker times. What do you take photos of?

Went to meet atty yesterday, he will file petition of conciliation, will force us to see MC. I'm willing, don't know about her, she seems at times to want D at full speed ahead. Have to meet him tomorrow to sigh papers I need to sign. He said what W wants for spousal support seems too high. It's over 30% of my take home pay.

I shoot, notice my signature<???,,, Dogs. agility and want to try dogs in lure courseing. this is a dog trial for sight hounds, timed. not racing, this is at AKC shows. Those sight hounds can move !!!! I believe some hit 35-40m/hr. shoot all other animals as well. lol, I always tell people I'm not any good with shooting people, their to borring..lol

They won Ohio State Cup 3 times, were runners up 2 years and finished in the semi finals almost every other year. We traveled to PDA in New Jersey, Busch in St Louis, Chicago, Richmond Virginia for tournaments. They were invited to the Disney Invitational. They were ranked 15 in the nation and 2 in our region at one time. Needless to say that took a lot of time we couldn't put to the dog. Her team coaches were N KY University's coaches, so a lot of good training.

I'm pretty good at shooting people, I'm better if it is a candid shot rather than a set up shot. For his wedding present I shot my brothers wedding. I have had people say I could do that on the side, but that would involve Fri and Sat nights. I'd rather spend that time with family. I did get good shots when kids played soccer and I wasn't coaching. Parents on high school teams asked my to take shots of their kids for them. I got some good action photos. That was with film, wished they had digital then wouldn't have wasted so much film, just delete what you don't want.

I don't know why they tend to spawn after feeding on live food, maybe it is working on catching their food like in the wild. I didn't have to do it all the time, but if a breeding pair hadn't spawned in a while it would get them started again. When I bred those ultra jet black veil angels, I had a aquatic store that would Buy everything I had. Several members of aquatic societies would contact me to by my better fish from me. It was a lot of work keeping tanks clean and raising the fry.

How's your sitch with H? Is he still with OW? It seems ihe is drawing closer to you, being friendlier. How's your health, is it something that is improving? I know how expensive medical bills can be. My bills have totaled over $100k so far. I'm lucky to have great insurance. All I have to pay is a $300 deductible per year with no co-pays except for prescription drugs, and it is all paid by my employer.

Well another day and another stich !!!ROFL H. is not in the most friendly mood today and still with OW. I told him if we had gone to pre-marriage C this never would have happen or else we never would have married. Society educates us right up to PhD levels and teaches us zero on relationships. DU no wonder M fail. I have really had an eye opener since all this happen, about myself, relationships, etc. If only had had the for sight to read about this before all of this went south. 20-20 is of little value once the barn has burnt down.

WOW your kids sure gained your sports genes !!! Sports are so important in life and teach us so much. That is if parents could act right. AKC shows, you Will be banned forever if you behave as many parents do. AKC shows, no one bad months a judge, swears, etc. around a ring. That can cost you big time or ban you. Need those rules around youth sports as well.
I can just imagine how thrilled parents were with you taking power shots of their kids. They will love you for life, honest.!

My health has good days and bad days. As yesterday I cleaned the pantry, although had to take extra meds to get by. Still have a bit left to do..
No the health I have is about where I will be for rest of my days. I am really lucky I can walk, use arms, legs, etc. ok. In time may start having trouble there. Never think about it as might be killed by truck long before I get there. lol

Oh the cost of health care. Last year., down from prior yr. I spent on just co-pays, $990. for meds.! Mike very lucky your employer has such great health insurance for you. thank your lucky stars.! Since we have our own business we have to purch. own health insurance. Just for H and myself costs over $900. a month !!!!! Of course that includes excellent pharmacy coverage.

Have you read the six stages of MLC? What stage do you see him in? My W seems to be in depression/withdrawal. She has lost touch with all of her friends except her best friend, although she has kept in touch with her family. I never found out about DB and DR until after she dropped the D-bomb. If I had only read it when she left home in July, we might not be here now. I did everything wrong!

S26 played on a soccer team that played in Europe, S25 played on a team that played in Australia. D24 was a student ambassador, she spent a month in Europe, visited 14 countries, met with students from those countries even had audiences with Royal families. D19 wnet to LA for modeling/talent.She was told they could get her plenty of work, but she would have to go at the drop of a hat,she declined , she didn't want her grades to fall or give up soccer.

As far as the angel fish went, most all other strains will lay 500 to 900 eggs at a time, you hope a third make it to sellable size. The black veils I bred only lay 200 to 300 at a time, I'd get about half. he store that bought them all gave me 1 to 4 dollars apiece depending on their size, they would sell them 4 times that.

I've never done salt water fish, but the larger the tank with salt water the easier it is. The smallest tank that could be used is a 29gal, although I think I'd go with a minium of 90gal for myself.

Sorry to hear your injury won't improve. I know I'm lucky to have such good insurance. If I leave my company it will stay the same, it is through the union. We are self insured, companies pay into the health fund, we pay Anthem to do our paperwork and use their providers. Even lasik for the eyes is covered.

It was fun traveling with all the kids teams. S26 and S24 also played select soccer and did many out of town tournaments also. We never took a lot of vacations, but did have a few. Disney twice, Myrtle Beach twice, Fla three times and the very first family vaca was Indiana Dunes.

Hopefully our sitch's with S's will improve. Met with atty today, had to sign papers. We'll file a petition of conciliation before the Jan 8 hearing. It will delay for 30 days and we will have to see a MC. I'm going to see who my C will recommend who is pro-marriage. Atty said I had to file a counter claim, in case W didn't get what she wants she can't drop the D and refile later. I just pray we don't get that far. I realize I don't need her but I want her.
