They sense something is up. Wife sleeps in a different room, so they know something is not right.
Forgot to mention, but when we had the R/D talk, I asked her what she was planning to tell the kids. It was the usual, "things have not been right between us, etc." I told her that in the event a kids asks me why we are getting a D, I will tell them: "Mom is not happy, and she thinks that divorcing me will make her happy." Um... she did not like this at all. But she (seemed to) accept it. She does not want to be the "bad guy," but right now, that's exactly what she is.
