About that anonymous email... I work on the web and have never heard of that so I checked into it. There are sites out that offer that service. That stinks! However, since it is a service, whoever used it probably set up an account, so I'm sure deep down in the databases of wherever it was sent from, the info is there. But it would probably take a court order to get it.
Do you think he would sabotage himself? That's low. Would he risk putting his job at stake? If he did do it, then I predict he will get his. What goes around comes around. It totally sucks that your W thinks you did it. To be so falsely accused would really upset me, too.
