So we all know that generally the belief is that for birthdays, anniversaries and Christmas if you give gifts they shouldn't be highly personal. So husbands shouldn't buy their walk away wives jewelry, lingerie, etc.

Now here's my question, what if you are on the verge of piecing your marriage back together or if your relationship is greatly improving and slowly getting more personal? I ask because while with my wife and kids the other day we all got to talking about Christmas lists, my wife brought it up. When I asked her what was on her list the first thing she said was simple gold hoop earrings. That kind of threw me because it clearly is the one item she really wants and it sure did sound like she was implying she'd like that from me.

So what do y'all think, do I get them for her?

Simple gold hoop earrings don't have to be expensive at all. Keep it simple. And buy nothing else for her.

And, NO EXPECTATIONS!
