s8 had an awesome c. unfortunately the c came up with the "wacky" idea that some of s8's problems may stem from the d. and the tests showed a constincy between s8's teacher and i. xw's results were higher in hyperactivity and anxiety. he wanted the majority of the appts to be with s and xw. you know where this is going, don't you? today at s4's checkup, pedeatrician informed me that she got a message from c saying that the appointments were cancelled and that he was closing the case, and that he was confused. so i stop on the way out of the doctors office. all the appointments from 11-14 till the middle of dec were cancelled by xw.
i warned him that is she felt a finger was being pointed at her that this would probably happen. i told him to keep us on the same level. these appointments were so good for s8. what a b!tc#. i have a message in to c to call me, i need to do something, he needs these appointments. doctors, teachers, friends on the same page to help this kid out, and his mother throws up a roadblock.
whatever, god forbid somebody suggest that your kid is having problems stemming from your sacred fu$#!ng divorce.....
fun and games as usual, it never ends
Stay on top of this. Get the teacher, counselor, doctor and yourself all on the same page. You can force this issue and you should.
Missed the awards... Had a busy weekend. S4's bday party was to be on Saturday but S8 had the flu. So the neighbors came over and had cake to make it appear that there was still a party. Then yesterday I took the boys and my exgirlfriends s to an activity park. Her son is like a son to me because even while we were "just friends"(Amy C knows who I am talking about) she would call me to be a father to him. My neighbors are his grandparents and him and S8 are very close so even though she is pissed at me(I am suppose to apologize for something, don't know what though) I still get to see him, and she admits that I am good for him(there is no father in the picture) so it's all good. Anyway it's always a big deal when he is around. Then last night there was a Wrestling PPV on so that always takes precidence. So on to the fun stuff.....
I don't care what you think, as long as it's about me.
Talked to S8's C. It looks like XW wasn't too hapy about the no meds behavior work...work. So the appointments were cancelled. I scheduled appointments till the end of the year. These will just be therapy appointments for S8. I will do the behavior work on my own through reference material. His behavior has improved here, we(me, teacher(an awesome woman), pediatrician, and C) are mostly concerned about the anxiety issues. I was told that I am being afforded a very big oppertunity to nip this in the butt right now. Most kids, when this goes unchecked, have huge problems later in life. Right now is the time to quash this reletivly easy.
So let me know how that all sounds, cuz I think that's how I will put it when I let XW know that all the appointments that she cancelled were rescheduled.
I have caved on a lot....not this

me: S8 will be continuing his appointments with (C's first name) starting Dec 7th. These will be appointments for just S8 so it doesn't matter who takes him, they will be mostly play therapy for anxiety. I think that we have been doing fairly well with his behavior issues. I will also be scheduling a vision screening with the Achievers of Wisconsin tomorrow.
her: I will not be taking Vinnie to see Mr. (C's Last name).
me: You don't have to, I will.
her: thx for the check...just a reminder that I will be keeping the boys on Thursday and Friday and will need you to come early on Saturday as we will be leaving the state for the weekend.
me: No problem on the check. I am planning on getting their haircuts on Saturday for Christmas pictures, however if you want to get it done before Thanksgiving I will pay you for the haircuts. I will be there Saturday after work.
huh... i'm stumped, didn't think it would be that easy. let's hope it really was
