How can this type of stuff fail to rip out our WAS's hearts? having families separated on the holidays are awful! How can any human being do this to another? There will be next year.....
fltc, you gotta remember that you cannot apply logic to feelings and you cannot apply logic to the thinking process of WAS. It's just the way they feel right now. They will justify everything around their anger/pain/resentment. All they know is that they are escaping whatever pain they are experiencing and that's all they care about. At this stage they are very self centered. My W constantly justifies that our kids are just fine and happy and not being with me is the best for them. Obviously to me and everyone else in the world she's completely out of her mind. Just keep reminding yourself that it's the alien talking, it's not the S you know and love....
