Oh yeah, this is kind of weird and, I know, bad DBing on my part. CJ, if you're reading this, please understand that my radar is still sometimes "up" about oddities I observe.
Yesterday CJ made a couple of trips to various stores...all broken up though, some right on the same route, but he came home in between.
On his last run, I saw him grab his coat and without thinking said "Oh, you don't need that, it's hot out!" (which it was).
He shrugged and took the coat. Okay, I admit, I was suspicious. I later "frisked" his coat and felt a pack of cigarettes in there. (Much, Much better than my worst imaginings...another cell phone!).
Thing is, he's hiding this from me. That is NOT a good thing. It suggests to me that he is STILL afraid to be honest with me. What does he think I would do??? He's a grown man, if he wants to start a smoking habit at 41, that's his (lousy) choice.
What do you all make of this? I haven't said anything to him as I'm not proud of having snooped.
