Can't believe I forgot to mention our walk last night...(was just posting to you LL, here's something else that discourages early dozing).
Had a late dinner and CJ suggested we take a walk before it got too dark. It's light out here until about 10 or 10:15 right now (June 21 it's light till nearly 11).
He suggested we drive to a park near our first apartment. It's a collaboration monument/flower garden built by the various ethnic groups in our city. So we did.
We visited all of the monuments, talked, laughed, reminisced about taking our cats for walks there when they were babies on leashes. Said we should gather our pals D and H and take photos of each other next to the monuments that represent our ancestry. It would make a lovely picnic spot.
It was just a nice moment. Didn't even hit me till now that that's the park where CJ talked to OW#2, sat, deliberated and decided to tell me it was over last August.
