Thanks for checking in on me during this busy week. Final marks are in. Phew! Worked on them all day yesterday...by the 5 p.m. my shoulders were tighter than a (use your own dirty analogy ). CJ played it just right by basically laying low, offered to help look for a missing exam, just left me be.
At 5 I was done, hopped in the tub and did myself right up in record time. We were out the door for the George Carlin show by 5:40. (Now I know the guys are saying..so what?...but you ladies know what I mean!!! )
I was tense all the way there, but no complaining, no squabbles. The show (filthy as it is ) was funny as hell and the laughter really helped loosen me up.
We grabbed some dinner afterwards and then just took it easy. CJ's sleeping in bed more often now too...earplugs seem to be working!
He's been really great lately, affectionate, playful and very helpful. He even offered to clean the house and organize having my Dad's 74th birthday party here this Saturday.
Right now he's out buying the goods to make his roasted red pepper sauce for dinner. He thought I deserved it what with all the work and my new class starting tomorrow.
Oh yeah, happy Beltaine everyone...that's May Day, May 1st, which also happens to be our 11th anniversary!
That's about it for now...I hope I can catch up with some of you now!
