It's a lovely sunny afternoon here, perfect day for raking and such. CJ's doing just that. As for me...well I overdid it yesterday. Shinybear's remedy for unwarranted exhuastion: rake like a maniac for over an hour.
My doc didn't look too happy about the results of my ultrasound. Seems my kidney is chock full of stones again, some up to a half inch long. Kidney is swollen too.
So he looks at me all serious and says "So what are we going to do next?" I was rather taken aback, I thought that was HIS area of expertise. So long story short I'm waiting for a call from a new specialist in town. Doesn't look good though.
Did I mention earlier that the city we went to for our getaway is the same one that does a nonsurgical treatment for kidney stones? I'd sent the place my CT scans, Xrays etc months ago. While we were there we figured we'd check the place out and pick them up.
So we called. Turns out the place burned down. If it didn't hurt so much I'd laugh right now!
Okay so to take my mind off the pain and implications (like 500+ final marks to put together, 7 late writers, and a new course starting in 5 days)...I'm a gonna check on some of you
