Shiny,
You have a great attitude! also...I never watch Friends, but did this week for the first time in 4 years....did you see it? Same thing, some sl#t at work makes a move on Chandler and says yes she is married too but not a good M and if his M was so great why was he spending Xmas away from his W? The OW said this to me sort of. My H and I watched it together and didnt talk about it. Maybe it just bothered me? But I agree on how much of this is on TV and I really notice it too. Guess we will just have to get past it. So what is on the list for your Birthday?????

Hi Greg, Hi Shay

Beautiful day here. Temp up to 18 on our deck (that's about 65 faranheit). If it weren't so windy (major gusts) we'd be on our bikes.

So H is out....buying a kite! I've never actually flown one before, so this should be interesting.

I just have a minute or so here, trying to clear out my regular e-mail while waiting on some phone calls from work...

Shiny

P.S. Greg, I wasn't on last night...will check you 1st.

Hey Shiny,

I haven't tried posting to the thread today. I didn't know it was locked out. I'll be here soon.

SB,

The bird's response draft #2 now available. Tried to make this a Reader's Digest version. Comments welcome!

HI Greg, You'll be my first stop!

Just did up my application for an overload of teaching next fall. Sure hope my physical health keeps up with my ambitions!

H made breakfast today (sausages, scrambled eggs, hashbrowns and toast). Not exactly helping me reach my weight goal!

Birthday plans (Shay) look like a party with our crazy gang of friends here at our place on April 5th. Should be fun if I just stay out of the way of the plans and don;t get stressed.

Do have to find some new clothes first...not exactly a hardship!

Shinybear,
Great plans! And it will be great to have a party together - My C says the healthiness of a R is measured when you entertain. Dont know what that means! Great idea! Wonder if I can pull that off too???
Have great evening- thnks for the info!

Shay,

I'm not quite sure of that assessment. My H insisted on having a superbowl party when things were super, super bad and before I found this place and DR. It was utter misery! The worst part is that everyone that was here knew that there was bad bad stuff going on.

Thank goodness its better now!

SB, Sorry for hijacking your thread. I hope you have a great birthday and birthday party!! Now, come visit me since i've finally moved over here!

Hi Shay, Hi Erinr,

Of course I'll pop by, welcome to the neighbourhood!

You know there's still room for you Shay .

Just a small post before my nighttime meds kick in...

Earlier today, while watching Dr. Phil. I asked H for one of his very good shoulder/neck/upper back rubs. I sat between his knees on the lazy boy. It felt wonderful (lots of tightness and headaches of late), and I do let him know when it's good.

After he was done, I just sort of leaned back onto him, our cat M jumped up onto me. (a "mommy sandwich"). H said "Maybe I should send you to a spa for your birthday"

Okay, so either he's been reading some threads (I said if he wanted to do that before joining he could, he never really gave me an answer.) Because I mention exactly that, a spa get away just a few pages up.

OR he's psychic, again.

OR he's just thinking of what I might really enjoy, and I must say it's sounding better and better. Wonder how pricy they are?
