Penny,
You handled that well! What kind of dog is it? I'm a sucker for little dogs! We have a teacup chihuahua that is 7 months old, she is a sweetheart. She is the ultimate lap dog and loves to be covered up. She is sweet, but watch out if someone disturbs her while she is asleep under the covers. She starts growling and snapping. We say she has tourettes. She weighs about 3 lbs. but thinks she weighs about 30 pounds.

This little thing is a minature yorkie. I brought her home to get her hair trimmed and combed out for the boys. They were giving her baths but she needed a hair trim and its easier where I live. I had her at work yesterday because of her hair appointment was she ever spoiled. She is very good. I have never been around little dogs before. I am afraid not to be with her outside because I live in the country.. I think I will have her for a few days longer til they meet me to pick her up. So I will continue to spoil her and give her back...I wish my MIL would take her I think she would be great company for her. She never has had a dog.

Awwww....my friend has a yorkie. It's the sweetest thing. I know what you mean about going outside with it. I'm afraid a hawk may come along and try to swoop her up. She also likes to bark at our neighbor's dogs who could have her for a snack.

Well, one thing about it, if the boys keep her, she will certainly be a chick magnet, LOL.

Hi YOYO
The boys already have it figured out that it is a great CHick Magnet...The girls love to watch her for them...I think my MIl has really gotten attached to her she goes to my house and picks her up everyday and watches her while I am at work. She just won't admit that she likes her.

Hope you trip will be fun..

Hi Mat,

Sorry your H is being so unreasonable but I think we will all hit that stage. I am waiting for it. Are you finding something to do for you? I have been trying to make myself get back into working out. I have a hard time when it gets dark so early I am outside person. So it makes the nights long. I think I need a hobby but just don't know what. Hang in there..And we will see what Life is going to deal us....

Have a great day..

Hey Penny,
Sounds like you are becoming attached to the dog also. It would be nice if MIL took the dog, then you would still get to be around it a lot!

Hi Saffie,

I'm glad that the poulticing is working and Like H siad if it works to be frisky again we would all be in line....

It has been a bummer of a weekend. One of our good friends that my H has known all his life and I have for along time was killed in a car wreck. He was a good guy who had just gone thru a nasty divorce. He had the 2 boys living with him and his wife had the little girl. He was such a nice guy . He was always good to help any kids and stuff. I feel really bad for the kids.
He had finally kinda had found a new girlfriend and was getting back on track. You just never know....

I took the little dog back and it was quiet here at the house.
My oldest S and his gf came down and stayed the night with me. It was nice.
HOpe everyone has a good day.
