actually, I think SATC did a very good job at de-glorifying infidelity. there were always consequences, none of them good. kind of like anna karenina...the guilty party was always hit by a train, one way or the other.

samantha got ousted by society, and then had her own heart broken by richard.

carrie had a mess on her hands with big...wow, did they show how seedy affairs can go, and how it may start out all sunshine and roses and secrets, but doesn't stay that way. they did a wonderful job showing how much a toll it took on her. not to mention, poor natasha and her broken tooth. I wonder if in my case, if h's ow ever felt half of what carrie felt, the guilt, the insecurities, any of it.

charlotte did everything she could to save her marriage, even when it was falling apart, and her one little sort of dalliance with the gardner did not lead to anything but problems. I actually like charlotte's story, because she was able to show how hard some people work to try to save their marriage, and even though it couldn't be saved in the end, she still ended up happy with someone else.

Miranda...was miranda ever involved in an infidelity at all? I can't think of any.
