It's like H has a double personality. He separates the identity that had that affair from the one I am married to and from some crazy logic in his mind he thinks that the last one is intact so this personality is entitled to get mad.
I was watching the other day this program - "Tight Skirt"- which in my language if a person is in a tight skirt means she is in a awkward moment - where 4 women - one journalist, one philosopher, one ex-model, one actress and one sport journalist discuss several subjects.
This program was about love. So this guy, a famous talk show host here asks them a question. He was trying to understand why today, when divorce laws and social standards are much more flexible and it's not a scandal to be separated anymore, people continue to betray their spouses. Immediately it came to my mind: Cake Eaters!
They also talked about this global statistics, 9 out of 10 divorces are initiated by women. Not generalizing but it shows to some extent that despite we are the ones that seem desperate for safety, they are much more vulnerable to changes.
