alright saffie and sara, here's the start:

Ode to an Italian Ass (my apologies to keats)

Thou still married husband of deceit,
Thou punisher, silent and withdrawn,
re-writer of history, what canst thou express
a wretched tale in which I am your pawn:
what horrors you endured entwined with me
now new found love, a single life, or both
born of lies, deception only grows
no inward glance, all anger outward shown
doomed to repeat mistakes not improved upon.

lol, okay, so its really bad, but hey, if you are actually going to ask to see something, what do you expect? lol.

mk, you are awesome! good for you on the garbage disposal. I don't know what is with me and the shed roof, but I will check the site out you recommended and see if I can get the guts to tackle it.

I took down my wedding photos long ago, and have never had pics of my kids in my bedroom. well, none on the wall, I think there are a couple in the bookcases. someone long ago told me not to make my bedroom a shrine to my kids, its easier to get down and dirty without little babies faces staring at you. ;\) I have plenty of pics of my kids elsewhere, but just not there. good for you for creating a haven, if only for yourself for now.

mk, you are so strong. and yeah, we need to think of this new chapter of our lives with a sense of adventure, intead of clouded with fear and sadness.

thanks for the smile at that vision.
