Listen a whole lot more than you speak.

Pause before you speak to compose your thoughts. Ask yourself before you speak: "Is what I am about to say worth it?"

Do not get defensive. Do not disagree. Show you are in control of you, a strong man.

Ask questions instead of disagreeing. Parrot back what she says to make sure you get it - "What I belive you are saying is xxx"

Don't commit to anything. Instead say "I will have to think about that" or "I will consider that" or "I need to check that with my lawyer".
