Miss IC:

Don't take this the wrong way...IC is not a control freak but when it came to sex, it was like he was programmed to go about it in a certain way. Kwim?

Absolutely.

I was clueless as to what IC was doing, I was just basically going along with his lead and let things happen as they will. But wow! Yea, relaxing and truly enjoying myself is putting it lightly. Did you guys read it together or was it something that you read and then took things out of it and suggested to your BF?

I read it on my own... figured out what I wanted to do, and then either just went ahead and did it... or I made suggestions.

THEN BF asked me about what I had done and suggested, and wanted to where I got those ideas...

I have learned from here that the best way to get something done... is to do it yourself. I was really bad about being... hmmm... passive(?), and, I guess, expecting that my man was going to read my wants/mind (so I didn't have to take any of my own risk, kwis?) All that does is build anger/resentment.

Long way of saying... I never expect anyone to read a book with me. I don't leave them lying out in hopes someone will get 'the hint' and figure out what I mean by it all. I read books that interest me, that teach me something I want to learn... I try it out, or I ask for it. I want a vibrant, connected sex life. So I must first be a vibrant, connected woman. I've discovered that it doesn't depend on the man for me to be this. I DO have to stay true to myself, though.

Corri, I can't explain this, I really can't. I can't explain the feeling...it was like an emotional orgasm as opposed to a physical one...if that makes any sense. I'm really at a loss for words to describe the connection but yes, I felt it and still do

YES. Now, I'm sure part of this is because the emotions are running high in your house right now, obviously. But... the techniques in that book, and on the web site, are meant to build the spiritual/emotional connection between 2 people, regardless of how you decide to proceed from there (more traditional sex, less traditional sex... or not sex at all).

IC: Listen up, fella. Kudos to you for trying stuff. It's a good thing you couldn't go down the more traditional sex road the other night, or you may not have discovered something YOUR WIFE REALLY LIKES. (Hmmm... did I emphasize that enough? I wonder...) Watch out when she starts doing a little reading of her own...
