(((AmyC))),

Sorry...I have been away...and I just caught up!!! Congrats on the positive developments! I just told another friend of mine that I believe that the joy we experience in the restoration of our marriages is in direct inverse proportion to the pain we endure while DBing, standing, or whatever you want to call it. Baby, you are in for some incomprehensible joy....and WELL DESERVED!

Good news, Amy! I'm really happy for you. How is your job going after all the changes?

Hey girls ~

Well....H called me last night and we talked and laughed together as we watched the last half of Boston Legal. It was kind of weird in a cute way. He called because there was a scene in which the bible was quoted and he asked me if it really said that. Then he called back after the next commercial break and talked through the end of the show and all the way through the 11 o'clock news.

I told him my hair dryer had caught fire (yeah, WHEN I WAS DRYING MY HAIR LAST NIGHT!) and asked could I come by and pick up my other one that is still at the house tonight after work. He said yes, then said maybe I could grab S14 and bring him and we could all have dinner together....I am supposed to call him later today to find out how the rest of his testing goes. Sometimes he's pretty sore afterwards.

Work is great.
I am swamped.
It's still just me and the two attorneys.
My one boss, whose husband died in August, breaks my heart on a daily basis as I watch her struggle with life and the kids (4 and 13). She has them in therapy and on Mondays she brings her 4 year old daughter back to the office afterwards and my office becomes like Romper Room for an hour or two. I love it. Next week I'm bringing in HI-HO-CHERRIO and Candyland for us to play! I even set up a little desk for her. This past Monday she asked me why I keep taking "HER" scissors! HA!

So that's all that's new.

Just rollin' with flow.

'Tis an interesting visual.....amusing as long as no damage to person was done.....a little surprising I'd think!

The smell alerted me moments before I saw the little flame and then the smoke.

And yes, the screen thingy was clear.

The hair dryer was less than a year old.

Oh my gosh.

I just realized that most of the people I started out here with are over in Surviving now (or a similar forum).

Damn.

I always said I would never move.

I guess since I am not in the legal process of a divorce I will stay put.

That was a sad thing to find though.

Way too many familiar names of people I thought had just left.
