Hi, all.
Well, H's uncle and cousin left today. Sure did enjoy climbing with them. I need to scramble now and get everything ready for my trip to Manhattan - get to have lunch with MH while I'm there, I'm really looking forward to meeting another DBer in person!

Love to you all.

“This step is for Floyd, this step for Will, this step for Mal, this step for Chilly, this one for Bridget, this one for SB, this one for Mycroft……..etc etc etc”.

Well, I guess being an "etc" is better than nothing.

Well done ellie.

Hope you had some soup to chow down on after your triumpant climb?

Actually, Soup, for some reason whenever I got to your name, I would repeat it three steps in a row!!! And yes, when we got back to camp we fixed ourselves some delicious Lipton instant cup o' noodle soup (Okay, you'd be amazed at what can taste delicious at 12,000 feet!)

Ellie,

Something I hadnt noticed before when I read your post.

Switchbacks for about 4 hours, (up 2000 feet in 3.5 miles)

For anyone that doesnt know, there are 5280 feet in a mile.

That equals out to 18,480 feet to go up 2000 feet. 3.5 miles would be comparable to walking 18 holes of golf, but that is flat.

Again, I am very proud of you Ellie. What an accomplishment.

Ellie -

What an awesome feat! I am happy for you. I took a week off from the board and am back....not sure where I am going from here. Things are not looking good. I feel like I have failed and slipped way too far back.

Advise and encouragement from you is appreciated! What should I do?

Hey doc I got an achin' in my heart. Can you find me the cure?

Ellie,

Creating a web site is easy as pie. Several sites offer free web space and have very simple instructions as to how to create a page. I used www.geocities.com for mine and they give you very good directions on how to make a page. They also have templates to use so you dont have to do all the tedius (sp?) stuff. Just pick a theme, upload your pictures and create links to your pictures. Very simple.

Id like to see the pictures. blinddeafmute101@yahoo.com
