No, unfortunately missed the jazz festival - was there on a business trip with my hubby. Did get to sit on a balcony at a restaurant on Bourbon Street and eat red beans and rice and jambalaya, though. My dad was from Louisiana, so those are the comfort foods from my childhood. There was great people-watching.

People-watching is the greatest part of Bourbon Street. Besides the music of course. I have always wanted to sit on one of those balconies. Sounds cool!

Thanks for all your encouragement over the past couple of days. I need to really detach....thought I was there already. DO you honestly think I have a shot at XH returning...I tend to think it will be tougher since we are already divorced.
