Wow - what a nice e-mail H sent you. Sure would mess with my mind if W sent something like that my way.
As far as Thai recipes are concerned, you might want to check out the Food Network web site. Never tried any of their Thai recommendations but the ones that we've gotten from there have been pretty good.
Thank you so much for all your input on my thread recently. I am very happy that I have the piecing gals leading me. Don't know what I would do without all the input. You are wonderful!!!! (Looks like your H knows it too!!! )

------------ This is surviving. There is no such thing as a normal life, there's just life. So get on with it and enjoy it!
Your words of wisdom meant a lot to me. I greatly enjoyed your story, I am glad things have turned out well. Your H is lucky to have you. Go get Mt. Whitney ! Good luck on your trip. I hope, I will be moving to Piecing soon. I am trying to decide between Piecing and Hopefulness.
Maybe if WillWin would split his commission with me....
A frind told me to check you out and Im glad I did. Sounds like you are on track to a great marriage. Also that is one hell of a goal to climb Mt Whitney, and I have no doubt in my mind that you will be on top of the world. If you can make it through the bad times in a marriage you can do anything.
If you can give me any words of incouragement I sure could use them.
Thanks and I will check on you from time to time. So get out there and keep up all that training.
Someday she will, Floyd. And that's pretty cute, that April fool's joke she played on you. Playfulness is good - I've always had a problem with being too serious, taking things too literally - my H loves it that I've started to loosen up.
Training today - three times up and down the cliff trail in 50 minutes, this time with 10 lbs. of kitty litter in pack - will push up to 20 lbs as soon as my knees get a little more used to this.
Yesterday afternoon went surfing with my H as he got off work early. Waves were very small, so just my size. Got some of the longest rides I've ever had, and actually got to take off on some (teeny weeny) faces!
Floyd - go to Iver's thread and read what I posted today about self-loathing.
Funny story - Had something to email to Chillywater last week, didn't want to use home email which has our last name in it, so opened a hotmail account. Was careful to use the same password H has given me before so that if he saw it before I explained it, he could see I wasn't hiding anything.
Well, sure enough, kept forgetting to tell him about it, Sunday my D saw the account when she was opening her own hotmail account, and asked my H about it. He spent the next day wondering about it - "gee, she SEEMS really sincere, things SEEM to be going well, could she possibly be having an affair?" Told me about it when we went surfing Monday and I explained it all to him and apologized profusely for giving him even a moment's worry. But he said - "No, don't apologize, it was probably good for me to worry about you a little bit".
Hi Ellie, Boy, are you popular these days!! I also love the letter! I noticed "athletic" on the list of great things- this must really turn him on! Great job on the training! Cant wait to hear your story afterwards. I have a question for you on my thread. I think I know the answer but need your opinion. Let us know on those Thai recipes- I love Thai food! Have a great day in sunny Cal, Shay
