Hi Ellie, glad things are going well. Quick question, hope you don't mind answering...
I had been putting the Augmentin in the fridge and today I forgot to put it back in. It sat out for about 10 hours, the house was cool, about 70. Is it ok to still use it or should I get more? I put it back in the fridge tonight.

I will catch up on everyone's sitch. probably tomorrow. I am going to get some much needed sleep tonight, kids are on the mend!

Hi all -
Last night was date night with my H, we went shopping for hiking boots for my Mt. Whitney climb. Got some killer boots, will have to start breaking them in. My favorite color - green Also got some clothing for the hike, jackets and pants etc. H really enjoys dressing me.

Went to dinner afterwards and had a great time. Told him a little bit about what was happening in some of your sitches - H told me he hoped he'd never been mean to me through all this. I said - well, a little - and he turned to me and looked me in the eyes and said "I am SO sorry I ever hurt you".

So all is good here, as you can see. Now to put on those boots and get training!

Hi Ellie,

Thanks for replying on my thread. You are right, old friend is whacked! I am going to tell H about everything tonight. I will say "Can we talk" LOL, and he will probably want to throw himself off the closest building, LOL.

Anyway, I'm so glad your sitch. is going so great! When is your climb taking place?? I will root for you! I am probably going to invest in hiking boots too, hard to walk the trails here all the time in sneakers.

Kids are getting better, thanks for the info. about the meds! You are a great cyber buddy!!

Hi all -
Training log - hiked three times up and down steep cliff trail at beach (about 300 feet high) in 50 mins. No weight today because knees still a little sore from Tuesday. Want to work up to 4 or 5 reps with weighted pack.

H leaves today for 2 day trip to Dallas (business). Also found out today that visitor we are expecting from Thailand (very nice woman, coming to study for a month) is arriving THIS Sunday, not in a week as we thought. So I will be busily scurrying around the house for the next couple of days, getting ready. Anyone know any good Thai recipes? I can make green curry and a semi-Thai peanut chicken, but that's about all. They really don't care for American food (they actually don't like chocolate, can you believe that?). Wheat and cheese are not part of their diet at all, so that is a limitation!

Just have to share an email my H sent to me the other day:

Today I saw two very attractive women as I headed for the OR...and I thought...yeah, they were attractive, but can you imagine if I came around a corner and encountered you (as a stranger). I would be so blown away by your physical beauty and spiritual radiance that I would probably (A) not be able to speak and (B) follow you home like a puppy.

You are strong, brilliant, fun, athletic and beautiful.

I am ...well, lucky.

See why I fought so hard for him? It's awfully nice when the aliens depart.

Ellie
