Funny/sad story: H call me from work today. Mentions he had a patient today with a messed up personal life. She confided in him that when she was 46 (my age) her husband left her for a 30 year old (my H's OW was 29) even though there was nothing really serious wrong with their R. My H asks if her H is still with the OW - she says no, of course it didn't last. Her H was really mean to her during but afterwards has told her she's a great woman and would have liked to get back together but by that time it was too much water under the bridge and she wouldn't have him back, although they are friends.
I think my H heard this story and thought to himself "there but for the grace of God go I".
Oh - and I went shopping today for some pants. Brought an armful of my usual size 10's into the dressing room - half of them were too big!
