Form a woman's opinion I think it is fair what she is asking for and you should show her that you can do it by your self. The important thing is that you show her that you are sad because she is gone and not because you won't have no more help from her. Give her some space, if she loves you she will realize what she is doing. Some women just need more time than others. I hope this was helpfull I am going thru the same situation with my husband.
