Hope the pup's doing ok. Sounds like if he does have an eye issue it's not too bad, at least.
Aw glad you still have some of the fish but sorry that you lost so many. That's really sad! I wonder how you'd get around that.. only way I can think of is to put them in another tank with no vent or something, but that doesn't seem good for them either.
