Do you know if we all got together I think the only men who would DARE go near us would be the DB men - none of the others would have the balls too!!!!!
Imagine the fun that could be had? Wooooo Hooooooo
I'd have to be that baddie of course - have you noticed how the American film industry always casts a Brit as the villain!!!

OH please count me in. Once i get past caring about h's feelings I'll be a right A-grade-beyatch. btw...getting past caring about his feelings his quickly coming, hope I can just continue with the momentum to say it to his face adn tell him I don't want to be friends with him anymore.
An Aussie into the mix would be interesting...I'm pretty crass. Take me with you!
OK... my kids are (mostly) older. But I do remember when my oldest had his first loose tooth. It was big.... very big. And when it came out.... I think the city had a parade!!!
OK seriously, Morgan, it is important that you maintain the importance of these "rites of passage." Irrespective of what is going on, I know that you are fully aware of the significance of these events!! And I am excited for you and your son!!! (OK, I'm a geek... guilty!) Make sure you have plenty of those golden dollars handy.... when it rains, it pours!!!
Listen, this stuff overshadows anything else. You know that. Celebrate the little things.
I say this listening to my boys talk about... farting... giggling and laughing. It's all important and good.
It is a very big deal in our neck of the woods. It is the cutest thing when they start to wiggle! Toothless grins, tooth fairy, tooth pillow. Awesome. He is such a cutie pie. Good thing he had his formal pics before the tooth falls out. Then you can have another pic after!
Thanks for the reminder Mark! It is great to hear a "geek" Dad tell it like it is!
I ma telling you if you want to see a heartwarming movie where all aspects of a marriage are explored see Paris, Je'taime. OMG it is so cool to see Gina Rowland act shocked to hear that her separated husband is trying to have a baby with his new mistress.....at the age of 60something!!!! She says, "She knows we already have grandchildren together?" It is alos fun to see a couple try to save their marriage by pretending to meet as strangers in a strip club. Another vignette shows a cheating husband on his way to break up with his wife when she interupts his speech to announce her cancer scare. he dumps his mistress on a text and devotes the rest of his life to his dying wife. The narrator says, "In acting like a man in love for his dying wife, he became a man in love with his wife." Then she dies and he is so lonely without her that everywhere he goes he thinks he sees her.
That is what happens. We choose. Love and passion are not accidntal at all. It is in our brain. It is a choice. A commitment. The fact is we can pretend to be in love or pretend to be happy and then we begin to believe it. unfortunately, our spouses who are having affairs tooke some crazy love potion and instead of seeing us first they laid their eyes on someone else becaus ethey felt betrayed first. They feel so lost and wounded they cannot even trust themselves. What else can we do but GAL and detach?

Losing the tooth is a big deal to the kids, heck, my 8 year old gets excited about everyone of them.
P.S. I do come in here and read almost every day to keep up, just can't be sitting here typing with the computer in the living room. So I am keeping up with you, mk, neph, agent99, lwb, catfan, lNr, and others.

Thanks, 789. I was wondering what was up with you! Still working on that meet up, btw.
Morgan, the Cali Tooth Fairy (OMG, I just corrected a typo. That almost read TOOT FAIRY. That would be for Mark's boys!)brings those golden dollar coins from the post office They are more fun than a dollar bill. However, if she runs out of coins, she gives a bill folded into something like a ring or a bird. (Yikes! H used to do that! Now I'll have to learn how!)

thanks for the excitment. I am so tickled, I am, and god knows S5 is. his buddy lost 5 over the last year, its been killing him (competetive little bugger) that he hasn't even lost one. he will be sooo excited to see his buddy tomorrow.
my sister does the golden dollars, too. didn't know other people did, very cool. guess I'll stop by the bank tomorrow on the way to therapy and see if I can get my hands on some.
mk, paris, j'taime is going to be released next month, have had it on my netflix queue since you recommended it. looking forward to it!
busy day today...going to celebrate the choices that I make in my life. going to the gym, going to the farm with the kids and do the hayride one last time, going to best buy to finally buy a new camcorder (ours broke last march), then coming home to carve jack-o-lanterns.
I did forward the name of a mediator to H. I decided to go with just one, because the other guy is a lawyer I may want if I don't feel mediation is working for me.
did I tell you all H says he thinks of me sitting at home alone all the time and thinks, "poor morgan." I was surprised, I guess, because since finding db months ago I haven't done that very much, except, of course, on the nights i have the kids. he knows I've been going out and doing things and such, wonder why he still thinks that? maybe because I'm alone during the week? anyway, I told him I was surprised by that (put on a good show, but not overly done) because I don't consider myself that. and I also told him I'd be okay. no matter what happens, I'll be okay.
anyway, enough rehashing. on with my life as I choose it.

M, I don't get it.. Why would you email the mediator info to H? You're doing exactly what he wants you to do. To get the ball rolling towards a D because he isn't going to do it himself. Let him do the leg work then you can respond.
